Oxegen: Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah

Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to play Oxegen, woohoo!

They're one of my favourite bands EVER, and I've only seen them once at Electric Picnic, which was one of the highlights of my life maybe (too much?) so I can't wait to see them again. I'd fucking walk over broken glass to see them play.

Also confirmed this morning are Razorlight, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Pete Doherty, Elbow, The Ting Tings, White Lies, Fight Like Apes, Pendulum and Jason Mraz.

Have been following YYY from their first ep and while I thought Show Your Bones was a bit of a let down I am hoping Its Blitz will make up for it...seeing them live again will be f'n fantastic anyway! Gonna have Miles Away playing in the head all day now:-)

I love love love Show Your Bones. Fever To Tell is amazing too though. I'm hearing It's Blitz! will be more FTT than SYB.

That said, Karen O has been working on some pretty lo-fi stuff recently: http://www.myspace.com/nativekoreanrock

Have you seen the Kill Your Idols documentary Una? Karen (much like everyone in the film) doesn't come off well in it.
