Blink-182 reform, and I for one am happy

So I guess it's probably really unfashionable to like Blink-182, but I've never been one for guilty pleasures, just pleasures. The trio are recording a new album, and I don't care what anyone says, or how uncool they are, Blink-182 are a fun band. Tell me 'I Miss You', 'The Rock Show', and 'First Date' aren't great pop songs? No. Right, I'll get my Asha boutique coat.

Oh, I nearly forgot to say that one of Sarah's old bands (The Fangs maybe?) toured with Blink-182 once (Warped tour?) where they were known for being able to jump really, really, REALLY high. Which impressed me.

I liked 'Adam's Song' from about 8 years ago. They're a good, leave-your-brain-at-the-door type of type of band who write untaxing yet well-written pop-punk songs. It's kinda good to have them back.

(Una, I sent you text weeks ago about Soundcheck to jacksgraff email address but got no reply...did you see it?)

I'm quite happy to admit that I own 6 Blink 182 records and a shitload of memorabilia from growing up.
I, for one, am very happy they're reforming.

Woo! I have no problem admitting that I love this band. I also have no problem admitting that its not the deepest or most meaningful music ever made but its enjoyable and in the end isn't that what the whole music thing is about?

I loved these guys as a teenager, good growing up angst pop songs.

Wasn't a fan of more recent releases. Dude Ranch Rocks.
