Tonight sees the return of L Word Mondays (or as FionnTimes likes to disdainfully label it, 'the coven'.)It's the sixth and final season of the L Word, and every Monday for the next six weeks, Lucy will download the latest episode, and up to 20 L Word fans will head to Tainer Bang's Apartment in the Sky, watch the episode projected on to her sitting room wall, and drool at Leisha Hailey, Katherine Moennig, Jennifer Beals, or whoever you're having yourself.
I just finished season 5 last week, so can't WAIT for tonight.

The women in the L Word are all beautiful and sexy.
In the real world few women (or men) are so attractive or sexy. For every 100 women I know, maybe one is very, very cute. That's just life. Ok so far?
Getting back to the L Word... if all of these character's were on a regular show about love and relationships, there would be feminist uproar that 'real' women were not represented and that the show was cast to please male viewers, who only want pretty, young and sexy women to look at.
This last bit IS true.. me do love to look at pretty girls wearing as little as possible. So do girls who like girls. So why can't the feminists among the latter just admit that that men are perfectly normal in being so obsessed with pretty girls too, eh?

Eh has Sloane ever watched the L word? Cybil Shepard, Marlee Matin, Leisha Hailey - all very 'real'.
I think Sloane thinks that feminists think that men who are attracted to women are bad. Someone's gotta work harder on the message I guess....

i was disappointed, but the first one is always slow. was totally shocked by who died though!
I thought it was OK, better than I expected. They've ruined Shane though.
Shane would NEVER have fucked Nikki. Never never never. For all the things Shane would do that are boldsies, fucking her best mate's bird would not be one of them.
In conclusion, I love Shane, but I love Alice more.
Also Shane would never BE best friends with Jenny and she would KNOW that Jenny is a mad evil nutcase.
I think people are too hard on Jenny. Yes, she is completely annoying, but I actually found her kind of hilarious in Season 5, and I totally think Shane would be friends with her.
But nutcase? Yes. But Shane is a bit of a nutcase too.
