After having dinner with Neilsies @ the Port House and meeting Meadzer for coffee, I headed to Le Cirk to a pre-gig drink with my sister and AdoFemBo. Then myself and Ado went to ALT. Sweet Jane's set was excellent. They're just a great band with a good sound.A Place To Bury Strangers were awesome. Their set was a total sonic and visual assault. It was probably one of the loudest gigs I've ever been too. It's so hard to do what they do at that volume and make it sound good. 'I Know I'll See You' was brilliant as was the last tune they played. Deadly buzz. I did have to laugh at the bass player's Pabst Blue Ribbon t-shirt though. Self-aware, much? Speaking of t-shirts, me and Ado bought a couple. Mine is blue and amazing.
This morning, I am dismantling a giant Christmas cracker from TV3 and playing with the 3D glasses that come with Analogue Minefield's new album.

What's the matter with the PBR shirt?
just the uber-hipsterness of it. So hipster it's not hipster. I'm sure a hipster scientist might be able to work it out...
