Apprentice shocker: What was Shane thinking last night?! First I thought he was trying to double-bluff the panel and getting Bill to convince him stay, and tell him he's great. But maybe he is trying to save face. Maybe he doesn't want to be the dude who got fired. I picked Shane to win from the start, though. I think he made a big mistake. Orla would have got fired anyway, I reckon, because I think Bill always liked Shane before he starting the randomness last night about how he doesn't want to be in something he can't win.
Once again, Brenda came out strong, and Stuart bumbled and bluffed his way through the task. I'd say he'll go next week. At this point, I reckon Nicky will win the whole thing.

I agree with everything except the last couple of lines.
I don't think Nicky wins because I heard she's working in some auctioneers or estate agents on Baggot Street.
Do your homework Una, and stick your head out the door of your office.
SHUT UP I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY SPOILERS!
A couple of people in here know who wins, but I don't want to know because it ruins the funsies.
Actually, I saw Nicky at a launch thing the other week, I should have asked her.
Ah boo, I thought Nicky was going to win. Meh.
Now I think it's Stuart. Don't know why really, I just think Bill likes him.
It's all gone a bit downhill anyways, I'm sort of losing interest which is what I think happened to Shane maybe.
Has to be Brenda! Seriously, if you had a business and you wanted someone to mind it, Brenda is your woman. Orla is all talk no action, Stu would probably break it and Nicky, I dunno about Nicky. She's like Louisa in the Sound of Music...even Fraulein Maria didn't know what to make of her.
I think Bill likes Stuart too.
He might be a bumbling spa but he seems to have a knack of getting things done in the end.
Have you noticed how every single one of them are awful at speaking? In presentations and in the boardroom.
Yesterday Nicky used the phrase "we were outstanded".
I wouldn't hire any of them. The only one who was promising was Shane.
Brenda seems dependable.
How Orla has survived so far I'll never know - how many times has she been in the boardroom now?
It worries me to think of how these peoples professional careers may pan out as the whole show is like a live C.V for the contestants. When the show is all wrapped up the contestants will be going out looking for jobs and the potential employer can just look back at the programs footage. The show highlights the contestants fuck ups. This cant be good for the contestants on the job hunt.
To be honest Una, you're right.
They're all shit and I wouldn't let any of them work for me.
Yizzer all fired.
BRING BACK JOANNA!
lol
hi Ashley - had to reject that comment because of the spoiler! Sorry.
Shane has been back in his old job (at Chivers I think) for at least 6 weeks.
This is the tenth weeks of the show now, does anyone know if the first show was broadcast while they were still in the house? I'm just wondering if he got word that being in there was doing his credibility harm.
They really are all embarrassingly bad (apart from Brenda). They're the kind of people who ace interviews but can't do the job. Stuart is hilariously spooftastic, he hasn't a notion what's going on, but his smug facial expressions have me in stitches every week. Bill will end up hiring him, we've all known it from the start, he's the only one who could fit into Bill's organisation.
It has to be Brenda. She's the best by a mile. Nicki is just useless! It has to be her or Orla to go next week..
