Who will win? Fight Like Apes? Jape? eh, The Script?
It has been a brilliant year for albums from artists who happen to be Irish, so there are plenty to choose from.

Richie's record is a cut above everything else that's come out here this year. The winner will probably be either his, the Flapes one or Lisa Hannigan's.
Dark horse for a nomination, the Waiting Room album it's deadly.

It's an excellent record alright. I'd like to see Richie or FLApes taking the Prize. I'd also like to see The Vinny Club get a nomination nod.
Jim Carroll's been talking up his possible nominations for the past couple of months on his blog, so I'm hoping very much that RSAG makes the cut, and I really wish Adebisi Shank would get a shout too, being my favourite Irish album of the year.
I'm not so big on the FLApes album. It's good but I think they're capable of better.
Jim doesnt nominate, though- although maybe his faves will subconsciously feed the judges. Id love to see the Shank get a nod- fucking great band.
Oh he doesn't? Well that's it then- looks like Snow Patrol will get the nod!
LOok at the boners! Fuppin Legends!
