It's growing on me. Any Bond theme has a lot of bases to cover... and plenty of baggage. Throw in two wildly divergent artists and this works a lot better than it has any right to.
Noooooo! The World is Not Enough was awesome! "The world is nooooooot enough but it's such a perfect place to start, my love!" ;) Obviously most Bond songs have that 'sound' to them but that new one sounds more like a parody of Bond themes. There's no beating You Only Live Twice.
I thought Goldeneye was a good retro reboot, though Tina is no Shirley Bassey. Madonna was Die another Day and it was quite good.
I've a soft spot for View to a Kill and Living Daylights, License to Kill was terrible if I recall correctly. Terrible enough that I'm sufficiently disinclined to look for it and listen again to confirm my view.
Goldfinger is my favourite I think. And as much as I hate Paul McCartney, Live and Let Die is a chooon. Was that the only one that won an Oscar? You'd imagine more Bond songs would win it.
Nobody Does It Better, Diamonds Are Forever are savage as well.
Did U2 write 'Goldeneye' for Tina Turner, or did I make that up?
UnaRocks does not UPLOAD music. All music links provided are ones that already exist online, or mp3s from band and record label websites. If you are in a band / band management and wish me to remove any of these links, I will, of course, oblige. UnaRocks believes that music sharing actively enriches our musical climate. Music sharing is as old as music itself. People who download music buy more records, go to more gigs, and buy more music merchandise than those who do not. The recent phenomonan of online music sharing has been credited to the ongoing resurgance in the live music scene across our world, and the increasing successes of 'indie' or 'underground' bands. In turn, if you are in a band / band management and wish me to post a link to a song for the pleasure of the readers of UnaRocks, please do not hesitate to contact me by commenting on this blog. Peace.

I think Madonna's title is safe for the moment.
I wasn't at all keen on the Sheryl Crow one, was that Tomorrow never dies? And who did the World is not enough?
This is pretty irritating though.
I liked the Madonna one!
The Garbage one was... Garbage.

This song is dire.
It's not a wonderful song but it seems to be the type that get's into the brain after a few listens
DANCE
into the fi-ahhhh
(I can't stay mad at it, thanks to the deliciously cheesy video. Le Bon... Simon le Bon.)
Awww, I like it!
You Only Live Twice is pretty beautiful, but Nobody Does it Better is perfect.
And what's with the hate for the Garbage one? Opulent deadliness, it is!
I've got a feeling that White/Keys one will grow on me.
Oh, and Die another Day is shite sandwich without the bread.
I like it. A lot.

I haven't watched the clip. But if it's not the Chris Cornell song then the answer is no.
Chris Cornell one was awful alright.

You did not.
Of maybe it was Bono And the Edge.
I just looked it up. It was just them
New Order should have done a Bond song! Is there perhaps I wonder a secret music Triple Crown of a Bond song, Christmas No.1 and football song?
I **HEART** Goldeneye. Go on the U2.
Awful tripe. The Chris Cornell one pees all over it...
For Your Eyes Only by Sheena Easton, and one of the worst movies too.
