Jezebel reports that Britney Spears will again be opening the MTV Video Music Awards a year after her disasterous performance opening the ceremony last year. Will this be the real comeback we've been waiting for. Britney has been laying seriously low recently, doing a couple of TV things, and appearing in the VMA ads alongside presenter Russell Brand. MTV are saying that her appearance will not be a 'performance', but an opening 'not to be missed' (well, they would say that, wouldn't they?)
