I'm going to see Brokeback Mountain at Somerset House (pictured) in London on Saturday night. V excited. They even have themed menus for every film! So that means vegetable or beef chilli with corn bread (less than a fiver for both). There are DJs before each movie, and there is no fixed seating, so you just bring cushions and rugs and things. Comfy! And there's a bar. Movies and beer. Yumsies.
Back in Dublin, I heard a while ago that there were going to be drive-in movies at Phoenix Park soon @ Farmleigh. They start on August 9th with screenings at 4.30pm and 9pm. Tickets are free! Yay! You can apply for tickets to 'The Snapper' on Saturday 9th here, or 'The Shining' on the same day (think that's the later screening) here.
One of my favourite movies EVER, 'Grease', is on Sunday August 10th, get tickets here, or if you're not into the ramalamalama, then get tickets to 'Jaws' on the same day here.
