Ze Weekend

There goes another one.

On Friday, I ran down the Sugar Club to present an award at the Balcony TV Awards. There was an amazing German beatboxer on before me, awesome. Bumped into Neil who I hadn't seen in a million years, Rachel Newstalk and Aoife McIndieHour.

After that, myself and Super Dee went to the Flounge, which was jammers and loads of fun; Ragin, Tainer, FionnTimes, Derek 2.0, American Ciaran, Steph, Lopez, Cooney Balls, Conor and many more were in attendance. We tried to get into Sin, but it was at capacity, so ended up in the Tivoli. Fire juggler people, sing song out the back, champers, dancing, balloons and funsies.

On Saturday we ate everything in Eddie Rockets and went to see the Edge of Love (I've seen a few movies this week. Gone Baby Gone is great, Wanted is hilariously bad but enjoyable, Edge of Love is pretty boring. I feel asleep near the end.)

On Sunday, I chilled the max, had some visiters for coffee (Sarah, YoCo, Paddy, Ragin) and read the papers.

Unfortunately, not everyone was happy with Gay Pride. On Saturday night at around midnight, the George was evacuated when a bomb threat was made to police. Some idiot rang the cops and told them he had planted pipe bombs in bags in the venue. Thankfully, nothing was found. What a wanker.
