Pride shtuff

My Top Five is compiling the top five Pride songs. So go leave your endless Tegan and Sara comments now.

There is so much stuff on, but some of the things I'm hitting are: on Wednesday les enfants terribles of Dublin drag The SkinniTwinz head to the George for a special Space N Veda night: 'Killer Pills: A Neon Nightmare', and then Friday is the big one. Gay arts mag Butcher Queers is having an art exhibition and auction in Film Base. 'The Meat Factory' will show work from Panti, Will St Leger, Maser and more.

Also on Friday night, it's one of the biggest, baddest and best indie nights in town - Q&A @ ALT.

There's loads of other stuff on apart from the parade and the Pride party @ Tivoli; Poetry @ Pantibar on Thursday; on Friday - Dyke Night @ Sin on Friday, Kiss @ Tivoli, Wilde 'non scene night' @ Bernard Shaw; on Saturday the post-parade rally at the Civic Offices amphitheatre, Spice @ Spy; on Sunday an all-day Pride resurrection party @ Traffic, and so and so forth, so check the Pride website, and there's also a handy Pride magazine floating around a few bars in town with listings and all that kind of info.
