How to win the New Yorker cartoon caption contest

NERD ALERT

One of my favourite things to do is think up funny captions for the New Yorker cartoons on the back page, or a funnier one than the winner. In fact, I spent a sizeable part of a journey on Sunday from Paris to London doing just that.

Today, the Slate has the guide to getting the winning caption, which is a pretty amusing and useful guide.

I can't find any YouTube fun of the famous Seinfeld cartoon episode (which is hilarious), but you can read the script here.
