Fight Like Apes artwork exclusive and nooz

Behold the new art work by Loreana Rushe for Fight Like Apes' new single 'Something Global'. The single will be released on July 11th as download only and on July 18th on 1,500 numbered limited edition CDs.

B-sides include a cover of McClusky's 'Lightsabre Cocksucking Blues' - a FLApes live favourite - and original track 'Knucklehead'. All tracks were recorded in Seattle in May with John Goodmanson (Death Cab For Cutie, Bikini Kill, Pavement.)

The FLApes as-yet-untitled debut album will be released on September 26th on the new Irish indie imprint Model Citizen.

i think loreana rushe is a great artist. Not biased or anything, but I'd rank her up there with picasso and van gogh

tenaka, I'm pretty sure there will be songs from the EP. I remember reading at some point that they were re-recording 'Canhead'.

Una, do you know what the new label is an imprint of? I'm assuming FIFA...

I do not think there will be many from the ep on the album, maybe 2, Can Head is definitely not. Just what i heard.

Jake Summers and Do You Karate will be on it I think. I PRESUME as will Lend Me Your Face. They did rerecord Can Head in Seattle...
