My legs are sore.
On Monday night, after a few beers in Spy with Meadzer, me, her and Corina went up to the Sugar Club which was PACKED with Rocky Horror fans. Big ups to Tainer Bang for the guestlist and for being the star of the show. BANG! Also in attendence were Brian Fucking Gallwey, Lucy and Grace and Mr Rick, who was resplendent in a velvet smoking jacket. FionnTimes then stole everyone's thunder by rocking up in full stilletto and postmodern cling-film drag. Bravo.
After that, we went to the Spy Prince party for a bit, but because I am super smart, I went home shortly after midnight to spare myself for last night.
Yesterday, me and FionnTimes went out to the aul alma mater (DCU) to cheer on the Emerald Warriors who were kicking ass in the Bingham Cup. Eh, unfortunately we missed both of their matches, but they won one and by now have hopefully won the Bingham Bowl.
Then me and FionnTimes and Aran went to the Front Lounge and made plans to take over the universe via a fashion show flash mob and other grand designs.
Later, I went up to Tainer Bang's apartment in the sky and me and Brian Fucking Gallwey and Davih listened to MGMT and FLApes. Then FionnTimes and myself headed to Vicar St (big ups to Cillian for ze blags) where Dan Deacon was just about to WRECK THE GAFF. It was an amazing haze of moshes, human tunnels, running in circles around Vicar Street, joy, worship and sweat. For the most part, I was slammed against Dan and his table of beeps. The man is a god. At the end, I sweatily jumped on top of Jim who seemed very enthused at Deacon's genius.
How could Jape follow that? I never got to see totally, because we before he did but he was trying to keep the energy going, although the crowd (myself included) all looked pretty shaken after Deacon's typhoon. 'Christopher & Anthony' sounded good, though. Buy the new album 'Ritual', it's fucking great.
Me and FionnTimes headed for ALT where Ragin and Conor had just fallen off a plane from Madrid and into the arms of Hot Chip. We danced. A lot. I was surprised there weren't more people there, and did have to hug the bouncer when he gave out to us for doing handstands off the edge of the stage and also had a nice chat with one of the Hot Chip boys about my 3D glasses necklace because he lives beside Tatty Divine on Brick Lane.
By the end, my hair was one of the biggest messes it has been lately (seriously have to get it ALL chopped off), the strap on my new bag was broken, my calf muscles were in bits, my shoes were wrecked, my feet were filthy, my make up had disappeared under layers of sweat and mouth-missed Red Bull, my dress was soaked in vodka and butterscotch schnapps, my had was bruised from high fives, hugs and some falling over, and my soul was happy.
Here is a video FionnTimes took at the Dan Deacon gig: (The first part is a song in a dark, when you get to 1:30; Dan Deacon is trying to organise the crazy running around in circles bit; at 4:20, the guy he chose to start running takes off; at 5:00 me and Fionn start running; at 6:15 it's human tunnel time; at 7:30 it's back to Dan; at 8:00 it's my 3D glasses and Dan's shout out to Leagues.)

WOOHOO!
What a night. Dan destroyed as usual. And Deerhunter were great. AND Bradford Cox is such a nice guy! Chatted for ages.
Now roll on Leonard Cohen...
into the arms of Hot Chip. We danced. A lot. I was surprised there weren't more people there
Probably because it was 25 squids in!
Dan Deacon was awesome as usual and Jape got everyone dancing by the end
Ya Madser.

Was in the photo pit and just remembered I have a photo of someone with 3D glasses.
I'll send you the link when I put them online
