Big disappointment for those who were waiting and waiting and waiting for Courtney Love's new album 'How Dirty Girls Get Clean'. Despite the lead single being leaked approx 10 million years ago, it looks like the original album will never see the light of day. Love has stopped working with Linda Perry who she was co-writing the album with. Although most people were under the impression that the record was done and dusted and awaiting release, it aint so.Love is starting to write some new songs with guitarist Micko Larkin, and it seems that the Linda Perry-era stuff will be scrapped.

i willl let my manager and my PR officer try to explain the complications of making a record in this musical environment that is up to my standards, but i sure as hell haven't "scrapped" anything whatsoever."
