God, award shows are boring aren't they? Me and YoCo watched them last night (just to see Amy Winehouse really.)Thoughts:
- Ozzy Osbourne is the cutest man alive
- Kate Nash seemed very bored that she had won an award
- Paul McCartney is annoying and boring, although the Hey Jude singalong was kind of enjoyable
- It's so hard to watch Amy Winehouse on stage. She's always so out of step, and looks like she's crawling out of her skin
- Take That are old
- Foo Fighters keep winning awards - WHY?

Know what you mean about Amy Winehouse, she sounds great, but every time I watch her sing she reminds me of like three year old in desparate need of the toilet. It's really annoying, I can't believe anyone really enjoys the gigs?

I wonder did she always perform like that, even in the 'Frank' era, which is what, 5 years ago or something.
What's with the lack of love for the Foo Fighters? They're still winning awards because they're still kicking ass.

She didn't perform so much during "Frank" era like that because she often played guitar as distraction. I know EXACTLY what you guys mean! Perhaps she should take up instrument again and that would help.
It reminds me of some lead singers of bands who don't play and instrument. Some can pull it off, others are awkwardly roaming around or thrashing about or over emoting. Perhaps this is Amy's problo.
As for awards shows, they straight suck. Everyone used to want to get together in secondary school and watch awards shows and I was always like "nah, I'm going to sit in a corner and stuff my face with mallomars and be bored straight sick" so I'd find every excuse to not show up.
Why why why. And I agree about drunken Arctics. The schtick is kind of....over....in terms of oddball awards shows things. Been there, done that. I adore em too, but it makes me cringe to hear them at awards. Thank god my only way to do so is youtube, so avoidance is easy.
Last nite, i had a dream that i kissed dave grohol just from watching the brits...and i don't even think he is hot. I just thought i would share that with everyone. ha x

That's not as good as my dream the night before last though when I scored four tries for Ireland against France on a frozen GAA pitch in Wicklow. Only one was assisted by the Drickmeister, the rest were all solo runs by me, ooohhh yeaahhhh!
