God, they come around quickly, don't they. All hopes of me having a quiet weekend have been more or less screwed given the fun things happening around the city over the next couple of days.I shall be heading to see Delorentos and Fight Like Apes play in Whelan's tonight. It's sold out, but you can still catch the boys with Ham Sandwich tomorrow night. Before that, there's the match, which hopefully won't be that much of a nightmare. I might go to the Mongrel party at the Spiegeltent later and catch Super Extra Bonus Party but I can't go too crazy because...
...if you listen to Phantom tomorrow morning you'll hear me on the Kiosk talking about moosick. NadineRocks. Might have quiet drinkies before Evil's House Warming tomorrow eve, should be fun. May check out the Ting Tings at the Pod.
On Sunday, head along to the Tea Dance in Dragon, which will be raising money for the Emerald Warriors rugby team. There's also a baking competition to find the gayest tart in Dublin, so if you're up for it, get cookin'. Free cocktails too, so come along, it's only a tenner.
So, have fun whatever you do this weekend.

When is Mos Def and when are you going to ask me if I want a free ticket?
Hello Conor. Mos Def is on Sunday 7th of October. Would you like to come along as my guest (if I get guestlist and am in the country)?
Don't say I never do anything for you ye bollix.
That soon?
Sounds splendid, albeit with a lot of ifs.
And as for this weekend?
Dinner, work on Sunday and I know it's not technically the weekend, but Happy Mondays on Monday.
ooh, forgot about Happy Mondays, might pop along to that, could be a laugh.
After hating the new record initially, some of it has grown on me.
