Tea dance, cake winning, Cava, Britney Spears

Sunday, I went along to the tea dance in Dragon to show support for the amazing Emerald Warriors rugby team. Go sport!

Anyway, in retrospect, it was probably not the brightest idea to start drinking vodka fruit punch at 3 in the afternoon, but live and learn. Well, live anyway. Ragin Spice, Wreck It and Coooonnaaayyy came along too and we had loads of fun. The best moment came when I won THIRD PLACE in the 'Gayest Tart in Dublin' competition, which was a baking competition before you start making any jokes.

Anyway, it just goes to show if you make an effort, you will be rewarded, because I bought a madeira cake in Dunnes for €1.26 and passed it off as a butch lesbian cake and because there were only two other cakes in the competition, Anna Nolan and Panti were forced to award me with a prize - two bottles of wine and a t-shirt. Awesome.
After that victory, I headed to Party Central to drink some wine with YoCo and listen to Bat For Lashes. Just as the song 'Sarah' came on, Sarah came in the door, random.
We went to Pinxos for tapas and cava and then to the Front Lounge to meet up with the girls. Inevitably, we ended up at bingo in the G. I have to say, whatever chart place 'Gimme More' got in the States, it's so fun when it comes on in the club. We danced. LOADS.
