Love that Sunset Rubdown album.

Gravenhurst is the most un-warp sounding warp act imaginable.

Jenkees new track on repeat.

Really like "Strawberry Jam".

Not new, but Fennesz "Venice" is outstanding.

Can't Stop Listening to the new Simian Mobile Disco record "Attack Decay, Sustain, Release" because it just came out stateside last week.

And I'm still waiting for freakin' Modeselektor's arrival but that will be a serious spinner for awhile.

Actually pulling "An Electric Storm" by White Noise out of the vaults lately (see above for reason, it's not totally random).

I'm loving the new Animal Collective album "Strawberry Jam". Was mixed about it at first but now it's knocking my socks off.

Sparks' "Hello Young Lovers" and "Kimono My House" have been in my player for awhile even though they're not new or anything. Just good tunes.

Oh and Fujiya and Miyagi because I believe there's a gig of theirs coming up around these parts at Middle East.

Speaking of Middle East, I'm listening to the new Aesop Rock record like crazy because he'll be in town this weekend performing in the basement. Hizzah!

You should be here to listen with!

Pharoahe Monch - Desire.

On constant repeat. Cannot stop listening to it, "Body Baby" in particular.

That, and Randy Newman's "Short People". No idea why.

By the by, I've been thinking of acquiring said Prefuse 73 effort. Worth it?

Soundtrack from the new Tarantino movie "Deathproof".

It's another Tarantino classic, both movie and soundtrack.

What's on the soundtrack? The movie looks dodge, but I'll take your word for it.

John Cav: Have just given Prefuse 73 a brief listen so far. It's kind of cool.

The Prefuse record is an odd one.

After a few twirls, I thought it was him back to old form (Vocal studies, One word extinguisher) but it hasn't quite worked for me so far.

How do you top a record like "Vocal Studies" though? It was just a corker (to quote Tom Cruise in "Far and Ah-whaaay).

If I can ramble for a second, one of Herren's best remix tracks is on this which is a cracker.

Same with his Savath & Savalas releases; the first one was a stonker but d'udders don't quite match up.
