Get some sleep: don't end up like this person on the festival's final day
It's just a few weeks away now, so preparations for Electric Picnic are in full swing. The last two years at the festival, I slept in a car, which was surprisingly comfortable, but if you're looking for something else a little more bourgois or maybe you just burned / lost / wrecked your tent at the last festival you attended, the EP folks have come up with some ways to help you get a good night's sleep.
Option One: PIMP MY TENT
Competition run by War Child Ireland (http://www.warchild.ie/)
- Deluxe spacious tent: set up and installed for winner in VIP Boutique Campsite
- Entry to VIP Picnic Garden
- Hifi with War Child music cd including lead artists
- War Child merchandise and collection of CDs from festival artists
- 2 camp chairs
- Deluxe picnic hamper including camping essentials such as sunscreen, toilet roll, plastic bottles of water and rain mac
- Strawberries & cream

Option 2: TANGERINE FIELDS
The folks at Tangerine fields give you the chance to make more room for crates of Bulmers in your boot by doing all the tent work for you.

4 man package, includes pitched tent plus 2 double airbeds and 4 new sleeping bags = £220

Airstream trailers! omg that is so cool.
Don't know about EUR4000-worth of cool,
but still, what a brilliant idea...
Word of advice....where Halfords tents might look very appealing because of the price... they fail in two key points...
The stitching (nearly all over the corners ripped off by the end of Castlepalooza)
That waterproof claim (1 inch of water at foot of tent by 1.35am on last Sat night).
I was tempted to bring the tent back, set fire to it and chuck into the entrance of the local Halfords were I bought it but that involved way too much effort. So now Charleville Castle have one damp and damaged tent to help them along with their restoration project.....the best of luck lads!
im imaginarily opting for that airstream trailer,
in real life i'll prob sleep in my car
rock n roll
I want a trailer so bad! Don't feel like sleeping in a tent for three nights...
*summons waterbed*
yeah dude what are we doing?? i think hire a van (who'd driving though?)
Me and Neil are working out an amazing plan. Never fear.
PS: there's no way you are driving us anywhere Lili because you always crash.
i don't ALWAYS crash. only sometimes. actually only on the way back from gigs (Britney and Kyuss) so maybe not a good idea. I am looking forward with anticipation to hearing all about the amazing plan. Kind Regards Lilian Forberg - Photographer to the Stars.
