I'm just back from London, and witnessing one of the best gigs I've ever been too. Nine Inch Nails at the Brixton Academy was just awesome in every sense of the word. The set was amazing, the sound was brilliant and the place was packed. Usually London crowds are a bit standoffish, but everyone seemed up for it. Highlights were 'Hurt', 'Head Like A Hole' (which they ended on, no encore) and 'Heresy'. Trent Reznor's voice was unbelievable, probably the best live vocal I've ever heard.
After the gig, me, Sarah, Vinny and Damo went to The Dogstar - a pub in Brixton Sarah used to work in, and then we went to Dublin Castle in Camden because we were all a little tired and emotional and couldn't think of anywhere else to go.
Anyway, it was a really fun evening, but the HORROR of getting up at 6am this morning to fly home was something else. I honestly thought I was going to die. But I didn't. Yaysies!
I'll have photees later.

sounds amazing, did you see any of ladytron? did NIN play closer?
did you get me my TOFFIFEE in the duty free?
And now you can go see them again in Marley Park....they're supporting Foos
Foos should be supporting them!
Missed Ladytron, was int pub drinkin
bollox Burco ,forgot your Toffifee, but I'm actually in Dublin airport right now on the way to Manchester, so I shall pick some up.
Yeh, NIN supporting the Foos is ludicrous - was stunned when I heard, Irish promoters really haven't a clue about anything (besides how to fleece punters of every last cent!)
