It was the wonderful Mike's birthday yesterday so we descended upon the house of Canada in numbers (me, Anthony, Sarah, Paddy, Quigo, Adrian, Robin) and ate chilli, vegan apple pie, cheesecake and listened to Frank Zappa and Michael Jackson. There were also some very funny 'you had to be there' moments. Laoise betting me "€600 you can't guess the song in my head right now" to which I said 'Immigrant Song' by the Zep and Laiose was actually delighted "PAULA ABDUL, 'STRAIGHT UP', YOU LOSE."
It got quite giggly.
Finally, we left and amused ourselves by writing dumb graffiti with our fingers in the nearly frozen windscreens of parked cars - 'U2 RULE', 'LEVEL 42 R COOL' and the classic 'SEX'.
