Still stuck for something to do on New Year's Eve?

There's plenty on.

First up, the party in the wine bar in the Italian quarter with tunes from the awesome Redmonk aka The Killer. Also Remedy's party at the 40Foot in Fun Laoghaire is going to be HAAUUUGE.

Elsewhere the brilliant Delorentos end their rocking year in Whelan's along with The Flaws and Pinky. Humanzi and the awesome Stagger Lee (if you haven't ever seen them play, check this band out, they rock) play the Radiator party in the Hub. Rugby hotties The Blizzards take over the Village. The Frames have sold out Vicar Street, and 80s throwbacks Spring Break follow their two gigs at the music centre with a partay in The Sugar Club. So now yiz have no excuses to catch some good music as the clock strikes 12.

Happy New Year to one and to all. 2007 is the year of the pig, so all of y'all born in 1983 (that includes me) should be excited about that. Apparantly it means something according to the calender I got free in the Chinese takeaway the other day.

Rock on,

Una

PS: ACHING to know what my albums of the year are? Pick up the Sunday Tribune tomorrow, as myself and the rockin Neil Dunphy give you the good news.
