I haven't taken much time recently to discover new bands I like, so here are just a few that I have come across recently enough.

People In Planes

People In Planes are a Welsh band who have gone under a couple of different names in the past - Robots In The Sky and Tetra Splendour. Joaquin Phoenix directed a recent music video of theres.

Talk Talk Talk Talk
Love Is All are from Gothenburg in Sweden, and caught my ear on hearing the fantastic single, 'Make Out Fall Out Make Up'. Their album, 'Nine Times That Same Song' is really quite excellent

This Conversation Never Happened
Lost are a four piece from Dublin that have a distinctly Muse-crossed-with-At The Drive In-but-more-commercial feeling about them. Saw them a few months ago at the Sugar Club in Dublin, and they really are an excellent live band. For young guys, their quality is pretty darn good.

Dr Dog are from Pennsylvania and supported Clap Your Hands Say Yeah at the Village recently
